Black Hawk College and the Illinois Department of Employment Security are co-hosting an Unemployment Assistance and Resource Fair on Tuesday and Wednesday, Sept. 3-4, to help laid-off John Deere employees.
Quad Cities area employers and community resources will be available. IDES reps will assist with unemployment applications. While the fair is aimed at the recently displaced Deere employees, it is open to all job seekers.Â
The resource fair will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on both days on BHC Quad-Cities Campus in Moline in the upper lobby of Building 1. Participants should park in Lot 1 off 70th Street.
