A new Jersey Mike’s Subs sandwich shop is scheduled to open today, April 23, in the growing Bettendorf business district called The Plex.
The sandwich shop is located at 5261 Competition Drive, near the sprawling TBK Bank Sports Complex.
Business franchise owners Camilla Lees-Soerensen and Aron Lees will hold a grand opening and fundraiser from Wednesday, April 24, through Sunday, April 28, at the new Jersey MIke’s Subs to support Pleasant Valley Junior High. Customers who receive a special fundraising coupon distributed through a grassroots effort prior to the opening can make a minimum $3 contribution to PV Junior High in exchange for a regular sub. Customers must have a coupon to be eligible.
The restaurant’s hours are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., seven days a week. It can be reached by phone at (563) 291-3822. Customers can place orders online here.
Jersey Mike’s Subs, with more than 3,000 locations open and in development, serves authentic fresh sliced/fresh grilled subs on in-store freshly baked bread — the same recipe it started with in 1956.
