Isabel Bloom Festival celebrates summer with QC community

Isabel Bloom is kicking off the start of summer with a mini festival as a way to bring customers and families together.  This family friendly festival will be held from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, June 21, from in the parking lot of the store and tour center at 736 Federal St. Davenport. 

Some of the activities include a free kids’ crafts and activities and Schaa-Bo’s food truck will be onsite offering Korean Fusion food from 4 to 7 p.m. Also, there will be  live music by singer/songwriter, Lojo Russo’s free-spirited blend of American rhythm and roots and free tours from 5 to 7 p.m.

“This festival is a fun way to celebrate summer with our customers and friends,” says Donna Young, Isabel Bloom co-owner and artist. “We have basically evolved into a “new company” with such diverse, innovative sculptures and are grateful that so many people, young and old, have embraced the change and made Isabel Bloom a part of their gift-giving and family.”

There will be door prices all day, and a first opportunity to purchase one of only 50 Limited-Edition Large Fat Cats $160 and new Medium Fat Cat $48, both created by artist Emma Dengler, daughter of Isabel Bloom co-owner and artist Donna Young. She  has been working for the company since 2015 and currently holds the position of mold maker. She has been surrounded by Isabel Bloom sculptures her entire life and the “Fat Cats” are some of her very first creations in a line of many more to come.

The festival will be the first opportunity to purchase a limited-edition summer vibes planter $39.

 It will also be the first opportunity to purchase a limited-edition summer vibes planter $39; A solid planter with a fun wave pattern, finished in one of three bright summer colors (coral, teal and purple); this planter will add a touch of summer to your patio or porch. 

Guests are invited to bring their own lawn chairs and beverages.
