Iowa Legal Aid is sponsoring “Surviving a catastrophe: A disaster poverty simulation” program on Wednesday, June 28, from 1 to 5 p.m. at Duck Creek Lodge, Davenport.
Admission is free. Participants will take on the role of a person living in a low-income community. The program features an interactive approach to learning about legal problems and pressing needs that arise after a disaster takes place, according to a post on the Iowa State Bar’s website.
The event also is approved for four diversity CLE credits.
