WALCOTT, Iowa – The Iowa 80 Truckstop will host a Meet & Greet with several Iowa Hawkeye athletes from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, June 17, at the Iowa 80 Kitchen Banquet Room.

The public is invited to come meet Hawkeye football players at the Iowa 80 Truckstop. They include: Nick Jackson (No. 10), Luke Lachey (No. 85), Jay Higgins (No. 34) and Aaron Graves (No. 95); as well as Hawkeye basketball players: Josh Dix (No. 4) and Hannah Stuelke (No. 45).

The event is free to all ages and photographs with the athletes will be permitted.

“We look forward to welcoming these student athletes to the Iowa 80 Truckstop. We hope you’ll join us!” Delia Moon Meier, senior vice president of the Iowa 80 Group, said in a news release.

The meet and greet is in cooperation with The Swarm Collective, a nonprofit organization founded in 2022 to support University of Iowa athletes.

The group creates opportunities to build and enhance the athletes’ personal brand while also serving charities and nonprofits in Iowa communities. The Swarm Collective helps provide support for Iowa athletes in all 22 sports.

The first-time event comes as Iowa 80 Truckstop is celebrating its 60th anniversary. The sprawling complex – now touted as the world’s largest truckstop – began serving the professional truck driver back in 1964.
