
An education workshop on the basics of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is set for 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Monday, June 23, at Gilda’s Club Davenport, located at 1351 W. Central Park Ave., or virtually via Zoom.
This presentation will cover the basics. They include modalities, conditions that benefit from TCM, explanation of acupuncture mechanism, treatment philosophy, industry trends, lifestyle philosophy, and demo of acupressure points. Props will be provided to show various TCM tools (cupping, etc).
The featured speaker will be Ryan Tulon, a licensed acupuncturist and Diplomate of Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).
Cancer Support Community Iowa and NW Illinois at Gilda’s Club is hosting an educational workshop. Registration is required, but there is no cost to attend.
