Illowa Council Scouting America’s golf tournament will be June 16 

Illowa Council Scouting America’s 29th Annual Pro-Am Golf Tournament will be Monday, June 16, at the Davenport Country Club.

 Breakfast begins at 8 a.m. with breakfast and activities, followed by a shotgun start at 10 a.m. Heavy hors d’oeuvres, game winner announcements and drawing winners will be announced at 2:30 p.m. The silent auction concludes at 3 p.m.

The tournament is a scramble using Stableford scoring, with the PGA pro’s score counting when it betters the team score. Participation is limited to 22 teams. Proceeds benefit Scouting programs in a 13-county service area in western Illinois and eastern Iowa.

Activities include archery and golfing games such as longest drive, guess your yardage, longest putt, drive the middle, closest to the pin and chip’n canoe. Activities, six on-course games and two mulligans are included in the golfing fees.
