Business leaders from across Illinois will gather on Thursday, Sept. 19, for the Illinois Chamber of Commerce’s 2024 annual meeting at the Marriott Marquis Chicago.
The theme of this year’s event is Innovation to Drive Growth: The Formula for Business Resilience. The annual meeting begins at 10:30 a.m. and concludes at 1:30 p.m. at the Marriott Marquis, 2121 S. Prairie Ave.
From 10:30-11:30 a.m., Illinois chamber participants are invited to the All Council Networking Reception & Expo followed by a luncheon at 11:30 a.m.
The day’s guest speakers include:
- David M. Foulkes, CEO and director, Brunswick Corporation, will give the keynote address.
- Lourdes Duarte, WGN co-anchor and lead investigative reporter, will emcee.
- Lou Sandoval, the chamber’s president and CEO.
- Dan Wagner, of Inland Real Estate Group, and chairman of the Illinois Chamber Board of Directors.
Laurie Silvey, state chair of the Employer Support of the Guard & Reserve, (ESGR) and the chamber’s vice president of Business Services, will give an employer briefing on the ESGR and present member awards.
