Icestravaganza 2024 canceled this weekend

Icestravaganza 2024 has been canceled due to extreme weather conditions being forecasted for the upcoming weekend.

“We love Icestravaganza so much, but expected conditions are simply unsafe to host the event this year,” Kyle Carter, executive director, Downtown Davenport Partnership, the host of the event. “When the weather clears, a few sculptures were already completed, so we encourage folks to come downtown and support small businesses at the Freight House later this week.”

He added “Antonella’s, Front Street Tap Room, Freight House Farmers Market, and The Diner will greatly appreciate the community support when things clear up.”

Icestravaganza, held each year at the Freight House, is produced by the DDP, an affiliate of the Quad Cities Chamber.

Mr. Carter thanked to generous sponsors and community partners who supported the winter-time event: Co-presenting sponsors, Rubberstamps.net and TBK Bank; as well as Isle Casino Hotel Bettendorf, The Family Credit Union, Metronet, MidAmerican Energy, Front Street Brewery, Rhythm City Casino, City of Davenport, One Step, Hupp Toyota Lift, Bistate Barricade, Quad-City Times, KLJB, WHBF and Townsquare Media.
