Humility Homes & Services will host a Social Hour to raise awareness of its work from 4-7 p.m. March 30 at The Fairhaven, inside Me & Billy, 200 W. 3rd St., Davenport.
The Quad Cities-based nonprofit is dedicated to ending homelessness by offering housing opportunities and supportive services, including emergency shelter, street outreach, rapid rehousing, supportive housing, mission-focused housing and veterans services.
“We are excited to invite our community to join us for an evening of connection and support,” said Ashley Velez, executive director of Humility Homes & Services, in a news release. “Our Social Hour event is an opportunity to learn about the work we do and how we can all make a difference in the lives of those experiencing homelessness.”
At the event, attendees can meet with staff, learn more about the organization’s mission and enjoy a live performance by Ariel McReynolds, as well as complimentary drinks and light hors d’oeuvres, the release states. Admission is free but registration is required by clicking here.
“We invite everyone to join us in supporting our cause,” Ms. Velez said. “Together, we can create a brighter future for everyone in the Quad Cities.”
