The Hemispheres Bistro fine dining restaurant in Bettendorf will permanently close on Wednesday, April 30.The restaurant is located at 2504 E. 53rd Ave., near the intersection of 18th Street and 53rd Avenue.On its Facebook page, the restaurant posted “As many of you are aware, Hemispheres Bistro will be closing on April 30th. In regard to the inevitable closing, we will be hosting a couple of events to celebrate a successful restaurant run. We will be hosting a special course wine pairing menu on Sunday April 6th and a last day event on Wednesday April 30th.”The Hemispheres Bistro fine dining restaurant in Bettendorf will permanently close on Wednesday, April 6.The restaurant’s business model has been to offer "global cuisine, served in a relaxing environment, unparalleled prompt service,and exceptional flavor,” according to the Hemispheres Bistro’s website.Some of its menu items include spicy Korean BBQ prawns, smoked chicken nachos, red grouper, Chilean seabass and Black Angus tenderloin.“We have made so many wonderful friends and memories here over the years. We’d be delighted to welcome you and reminisce,” according to the Facebook post.In addition to thanking customers for their support, restaurant leaders also urged patrons to “check out our other restaurant” – Plus Saporis – located at 4808 Forest Grove Drive, near the TBK Bank Sports Complex in northern Bettendorf.That restaurant opened its doors to foodies on July 24, 2025, and has about 30 employees.
