This annual fundraiser benefits Hand in Hand’s inclusive programs and empowers children and adults of all abilities to learn and grow while supporting families. Hand in Hand is the only organization in the Quad Cities that offers inclusive programs for people of all abilities from ages 6 weeks through adulthood.
The organization offers childcare, a summer camp, after-school care, an adult volunteer program called People with Purpose, After School Club and many evening and weekend recreation programs. Programs not only provide participants with an opportunity to gain self-esteem, improve social skills and gain independence while having fun with their friends, but also gives parents and primary caregivers respite from their caregiving duties so they can work, run errands or have time to themselves.
