CLINTON, Iowa – Grow Clinton is partnering with Iowa State University Extension for a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Lunch and Learn session from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Wednesday, May 10, at Grow Clinton, 721 S. Second St.
The session will include the use of a world-class tool called the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI), the premier cross-cultural assessment tool of intercultural competence in the world, according to a news release from Grow Clinton.
The IDI helps businesses and organizations that are beginning to incorporate DEI efforts or are looking for opportunities to enhance related outcomes, the release states. The three-hour program will include a session on cultural competency, a DEI action-planning session, lunch and more.
While the program cost is sponsored by Grow Clinton, participants are responsible for the $45 cost of individual assessments, which must be completed prior to the session. Instructions will be given after registration, the release states.
