DEWITT, Iowa – First Central State Bank will continue its tradition of Grilling for Charity fundraisers at its bank location here. The next grilling event is set for 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 6.
The proceeds collected from this fundraiser will benefit the DeWitt Theater Company, which oversees the DeWitt Operahouse Theatre.
First Central State Bank launched its Grilling for Charity fundraisers in 2010. Since its inception, the events have raised tens of thousands of dollars for local nonprofits. Last year, First Central State Bank raised more than $14,000 through its Grilling For Charity fundraisers.
The upcoming event will have a menu that includes hamburgers, cheeseburgers, chips, a drink and a dessert for a donation.
