Girl Scout cookies arrive in QC

Members of the Moline Fire Department receive a donation of Girl Scout cookies. Customers who would like to donate cookies can give to the Care to Share fund, with each $6 donation representing a box of cookies that will be delivered.

The Girl Scout Cookies have arrived.

Many of those cookies will be sold by young scouts at cookie booths throughout eastern Iowa and western Illinois. To find a cookie booth in the area, visit www.GirlScoutCookies.org and type in your zip code to see a list of upcoming cookie booths, hosted by local Girl Scout troops.

At the beginning of the year, Girl Scouts began collecting customer orders and forecasting sales for the 2025 cookie season.

Shipments of cookies arrived last week to the Girls Scouts of Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois, a youth development organization led by CEO Diane Nelson. Now girls will begin delivering orders and selling cookies directly at booths outside stores, door-to-door in their neighborhoods, and at community events.

This year, troops are even collecting donations to give Girl Scout Cookies to hometown heroes such as military members, first responders, hospitals, and more.

If you prefer to have your Girl Scout Cookies shipped directly to your home, visit www.GirlScoutsToday.org for a map of local troop Digital Cookie links.
