The Freight House Farmers Market in downtown Davenport will host its fifth annual Fall Harvest Festival on Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 1-2, featuring more than 100 small businesses, live music, a petting zoo and more.
The festival will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 1 and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 2, at the 421 W. River Dr. market.
“It’s our favorite time of year to cheer on local farmers, growers, and makers while soaking up the last of the growing season,” said Missy Carter, the market’s executive director. “From farm fresh goodies to unique small business finds, this festival is all about coming together, supporting our community, and kicking off fall in the best way possible.”
In addition to vendors from the Quad Cities and beyond, the event will include live music coordinated by Common Chord, Millers Petting Zoo, face painting by The Painted Cupcake, the Davenport Public Library’s OWL, and a hay maze.
“Fall Harvest Festival is the perfect combination of all things fall in the Quad Cities,” said Stephanie Bley, senior marketing & engagement specialist. “We are over the moon at the amount of excitement and attention this event has already received. November can’t get here soon enough.”
