CLINTON, Iowa — Cancer Support Community Iowa and NW Illinois at Gilda’s Club will host a free advance care planning workshop on Friday, Oct. 24, from 1-2 p.m. at the Clinton YWCA, 317 7th Ave. S. Clinton.
The workshop, “Frankly Speaking About Cancer: Advance Care Planning Workshop,” will provide information and support on the process of advance care planning (ACP) and creating an advance directive, as well as the differences between the two. Participants will learn why ACP is important and receive tips on what to consider when creating a care plan.
The featured speaker will be Kelly Craft, program manager at Cancer Support Community at Gilda’s Club.
