The Food Truck Fight is returning to the Quad Cities, but not to Bettendorf this summer.
The food truck competition event will be at the Rust Belt in East Moline from noon to 8 p.m. on Saturday, July 20. Tickets are $10. Admission is free for kids 12 and under. Go here for ticket information.
The event, sponsored by K&K Hardware, is expected to feature around 20 food trucks, games and live music.
This year’s schedule of music includes Scott Stowe and Kristopher Keuning from noon to 2 p.m.; Doug Brundies from 2:30-4:30 p.m.; and Corporate Rock from 5-8 p.m.
There will also be entertainment for children.
In the past two years, the Food Truck Fight took place in downtown Bettendorf at the Isle Parkway.
During the upcoming event, customers can vote for their favorite truck. A Food Truck Fight champion is scheduled to be named at about 7 p.m.
Some of the food trucks scheduled for this year include: Hibachi Time, Little O’s Frozen Treats, Flavor Train, Girl+Food, Mi Oaxaca and Koppes Kreations.
Since the inaugural event in 2017, Food Truck Fights have attracted more than 55,000 food truck fans across the country.
