Foley joins Moline Regional Community Foundation board

    Molly Foley, the chief marketing officer for IMEG, has joined the board of directors for the Moline Regional Community Foundation, the organization announced.

    “We are excited not only with Molly’s professional experience but also her leadership, passion and drive for excellence which will help us continue to provide a high level of philanthropic services to our community,” Paul Plagenz, the foundation’s president and CEO, said in a news release Thursday, July 24.  

    Ms. Foley grew up in East Moline and currently lives with her husband, Paul “P.J.” Foley, in Moline. 

    After graduation from Western Illinois University, she worked for the Muscular Dystrophy Association and eventually the Illinois Quad Cities Chamber of Commerce, where she served as vice president. 

    In 2006, she was recruited by Next Generation Consulting. The shere served as a consultant in economic and workforce development across North America for several years. She spent much of this time conducting research on generational shifts and how different generations impact economic trends.

    In November 2012, Ms. Foley joined Quad Cities-based KJWW Engineering Consultants, now known as IMEG. She is the chief marketing officer and a senior principal owner in the firm. Ms. Foley leads a team of 50 marketing professionals. She oversees national brand positioning,  strategic business development and brand engagement objectives for the national firm of more than 3,000 team members.

    Fueling opportunity, growth

    “Serving the Moline Regional Community Foundation allows me to help grow a stronger, more vibrant community – one where generosity fuels opportunity and regional growth,” Ms. Foley said in the release. 

    The foundation said Ms. Foley brings a successful record in getting initiatives off the ground and flourishing. She is an active community advocate and award winner. She’s served on many civic and non-profit boards. In 2006, she became the first female commissioner on Rock Island County’s Metropolitan Airport Authority. It governs the Quad Cities International Airport.

    She currently serves as vice chair of the Quad Cities Chamber board and marketing committee chair on the Friendship Manor board. She also is a past board member and chair of the Black Hawk College Foundation.
