A veteran human resources professional is back on her own with the relaunch of Laura E. Flanagan (LEF) Management Consulting.
With more than 20 years in the talent management consulting industry, Laura “Lauri” Flanagan has rebooted LEF Management Consulting. It is now located at 2533 E. 53rd St., Davenport.
“Relaunching my consulting business has been a rewarding journey that combines my passion for human resources with my dedication to helping organizations thrive,” the Bettendorf woman told the QCBJ. “My mission is to provide top-tier HR solutions which drive organizational success.”
The experienced HR professional partnered 10 years until 2023 with the former Management Resource Group (MRG) in Davenport. She served the last six years as MRG’s president.
“I have been fortunate to help a variety of companies and individuals,” she said. “This new chapter brings a focus on delivering personalized and impactful services to my clients.”
Laura E. Flanagan Management Consulting offers a comprehensive range of services including:
- Coaching: Personalized coaching sessions to enhance leadership skills, emotional intelligence, and career development.
- Succession Planning: Strategic planning to ensure smooth leadership transitions and development of a robust talent pipeline.
- Assessments: Customized assessments to identify strengths, areas for improvement, and actionable insights for individual and team growth. Assessments can be used for hiring, promotion and development.
- HR Consulting: Expert advice to guide clients through employee promotions, terminations, downsizing, reorganizations, HR policies, compliance and talent management. She also can assist in the planning for resources and structure when a business is positioned for growth.
In addition to two decades as consultant, Ms. Flanagan has a background in the corporate world including in the manufacturing and transportation industries.
She holds a M.S. degree in management from Cardinal Stritch University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and a B.A. degree in psychology from Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa. Ms. Flanagan earned her Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM) senior certification (SHRM-SCP), and holds a certification in Emotional Intelligence (EQi 2.0).
She also is active in the professional HR community including with the local chapter of SHRM Great River Human Resources Association (GRHRA), where she served as president from 2020 to 2021, past president for 2022 and is the 2023-2024 community relations director. At the state level, she serves on the Iowa SHRM State Council and currently is district director for 2022-2024.
Ms. Flanagan is active in the Quad Cities community with a number of nonprofit boards including Empowering Abilities, Davenport, and contributes to the human resources, audit, and financial committees. She also is past president of the parent organization at Lourdes Catholic School, Bettendorf, and previously was a board member for the Women’s Choice Center.
