First Central to host ‘Grilling for Charity’ event

First Central State Bank will continue its tradition of “Grilling for Charity” fundraisers with a cookout from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 29, at its branch in Eldridge. 

The proceeds collected from this fundraiser will benefit the North Scott Food Pantry.

First Central State Bank launched its Grilling for Charity fundraisers in 2010. Since its inception, the events have raised tens of thousands of dollars to benefit local nonprofits. Last year, First Central State Bank raised more than $20,000 through its Grilling For Charity fundraisers. Last month’s fundraiser benefitted the Skyline Center.

The menu for the Eldridge event includes pork chops, chips, a drink and a dessert for a donation.
