CLINTON, Iowa – First Central State Bank will continue its tradition this month of Grilling for Charity fundraisers.
The event will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 22, at First Central State Bank’s Lincoln Way location in Clinton. Proceeds collected will benefit Speak Out Against Suicide, which offers support and resources to local residents and families.
First Central State Bank launched its Grilling for Charity fundraisers in 2010. Since its inception, the events have raised tens of thousands of dollars to local non-profits. Last year, First Central raised more than $19,000 through its Grilling For Charity efforts.
The menu includes hamburgers, cheeseburgers, hot dogs, chips, a drink and a dessert for a donation. Businesses and organizations interested in delivery, should call (563) 242-2265 prior to 4 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 21.
