FAME chapter looks to train next generation of workers

    Keith Pearl is facing stressful days thinking about the workforce needs of his company – Smith Filter Corp. in Moline.

    Smith Filter, in business since 1939, makes air and grease filters. The company, which makes thousands of filters every day, needs people to keep its filter-making machinery running.
