Expanded tax credits will boost state, QCA Film Office

The Quad City Area Film Office along with filmmakers, talent and trades across Illinois received a major boost when Gov. JB Pritzker inked an Illinois Senate bill that includes expanding critical film production tax credits.

Those filmmaking incentives, which were included in a broader comprehensive statewide economic development incentive package, were signed into law by Mr. Pritzker on Friday, Dec. 12.
