East Moline looks for Fourth of July Parade entries

The City of East Moline is looking for entries for its Fourth of July Parade.

Parade forms and details on the celebration can be found here. The deadline to enter the parade is Friday, June 28.

This year’s parade theme is “Celebrating the Fourth Through the Eyes of a Child.”

City officials suggest these ideas for parade entries:

  • Celebrating your heroes, such as the military and first responders.
  • Walking down memory lane – fads, trends and Saturday morning cartoons.
  • Kids’ movies, sports teams and shows.
  • Patriotic, red, white and blue themes.

Parade organizers are also looking for bands and music acts for the parade.
