MUSCATINE, Iowa – The Greater Muscatine Chamber of Commerce & Industry along with downtown businesses will host their 4th Annual Sip & Shop event on Friday, May 10. Local shops will be open with extended hours from 5-8 p.m.
Registered attendees will receive different wine samples at participating businesses along with a chance to win door prizes. Attendees can pick up their tasting glass and event map at the Pearl Plaza, 208 W. 2nd St., at 4:30 p.m. on the night of the event. Tickets are on sale at https://sipandshopmuscatine2024.eventbrite.com. Participants must purchase tickets ahead of time to guarantee samples and must be 21 or older for the wine sampling. Individual tickets are $20 online.
Event-goers also can stay overnight at the Merrill Hotel, which is just steps away from the shops, and can receive a discount by asking for “the Chamber Rate” when making a reservation.
