Dino Days will be at Putnam Museum May 31, June 1

The Putnam Museum and Science Center in Davenport will host its family-friendly Dino Days event Saturday, May 31, and Sunday, June 1.

The museum’s Lardner Balcony will be transformed into a “Jurassic-Style Park” with activities and crafts. The museum also plans to make a special announcement during the event.

Tickets are timed based on movie showings in the GIANT Screen Theater, which will feature “T. Rex – 3D” and a double feature of “The Lost World” and “Return to the Lost World – 3D.”

The event will run Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday will include a sensory-friendly period from 10 a.m. to noon.

Activities include paleontologist talks, dino-themed face painting, a “Create Your Dinosaur Name” activity, a fossil dig, a photo booth, and a meet-and-greet with Dilly the Dinosaur.

Museum members receive half-off general admission. VIP tickets are available and include a Dino Expedition T-shirt, a Mini Dig Kit, and access to a VIP lounge featuring a new virtual reality experience.
