Moline riverfront project developers have extended the deadline to Sunday, March 10, for Quad Citians who wish to give feedback about three draft plans that designers hope will “create the spark” for a vibrant riverfront.

The survey was launched when some 100 community members attended the “Love the River” celebration on Saturday, Feb. 10, at Mercado on Fifth.

The updated Moline River Front + Centre Plan  — led by the City of Moline, Renew Moline and a multidisciplinary planning team MKSK Studios  — aims to create a compelling vision and implementation plan for a re-imagined Moline riverfront, according to the city.

Input was from Quad Citians was collected last October about the community’s vision of the riverfront. It helped the project team create three concepts for Moline River Front + Centre. “This is a BIG opportunity for the community to share what they want and don’t want for the future of the riverfront,” the team said in an email. “All of the feedback gathered will inform the creation of a final draft riverfront concept that the project team will present for additional feedback in late spring/early summer.”

    How to take the survey

What has been dubbed Community Survey No. 2 is available in English and Spanish until end of  day March 10.
