Davenport Mayor Mike Matson will present his Davenport State of the City address at noon Thursday, June 5, at Rhythm City Casino Resort in north Davenport.
The event is open to the public. Those who want to attend may register here. Registration will close Wednesday, May 28.
The Davenport State of the City address will be live streamed on the City of Davenport Facebook page and posted to the city’s YouTube channel.
In past years, the State of the City address has been used as an opportunity to highlight the city’s accomplishments from the past year and look forward to upcoming projects. The mayor also has addressed major issues facing the city.
Attendees also are likely to learn about the various road, sewer, housing and other projects in the city.
