Davenport Fire Station 3 to cut ribbon Thursday

The community is invited to celebrate the completion of Davenport Fire Station 3 and to tour the new facility on Thursday, Feb. 8, beginning at 2 p.m.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held in the Apparatus Bay of the new station at 300 E. 42nd St., Davenport. 

Speakers will include: Davenport Mayor Mike Matson, Davenport Fire Chief Michael Carlsten, OPN Architects Senior Project Architect Landon Burg, and City of Davenport Director of Engineering & Capital Projects Clay Merritt. 

Attendees are asked to park at nearby NorthPark Mall and take a shuttle service to the station. There will be limited accessible parking in the Fire Station 3 lot.
