Applications for Quad Cities Community Foundation scholarships are now open for 2025.
Thanks to generous donors, local students can apply for more than 70 scholarship opportunities totaling over $600,000.
Applications are due by Feb. 15, 2025, with recipients announced in May. Students are encouraged to apply as soon as possible.
“Our donors recognize the value of education and supporting students at all stages of their careers,” Sue Hafkemeyer, the foundation’s president and CEO, said in a news release. “Scholarships have the power to change lives, and we’re proud to connect donors and local students in a way that lifts our whole community.”
Scholarships are available for high school seniors as well as those who have already graduated.
Students continuing their education at trade and technical schools, community colleges, and four-year institutions are all eligible. No matter a student’s age or situation, scholarship opportunities are available.

“Support for students is an investment in the future of our region,” said Kelly Thompson, the vice president of Grantmaking and Community Initiatives. “Scholarships make education and opportunities more accessible; they create opportunities that will go on to impact all of us.”
