Award-winning author Lois Buntz will lead a free workshop, “Women Who Give: The Power of Women in Philanthropy,” hosted by the Quad Cities Community Foundation from 5:30-6:30 p.m., Thursday, July 17. The event will be at the Community Foundation’s offices at 852 Middle Road, Suite No. 100, Bettendorf.

The workshop will explore the motivations and patterns of women’s philanthropic giving and offer strategies for increasing impact, engaging other women donors, and aligning giving with personal values. Ms. Buntz emphasizes the significant role women play in philanthropy, noting their tendency to give more frequently, generously, and purposefully.
Attendees can expect to gain insights into current trends in women’s philanthropy, acquire practical tools for engaging and inspiring women donors, and achieve greater clarity in their personal giving. After the workshop, refreshments and networking opportunities will be available.
