Downtown Rock Island will transform into a hub of spooky fun and excitement during “Back from the Dead,” a two-day event on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 11-12.
The Rock Island Downtown Alliance invites residents and visitors to explore haunted attractions, unique markets and family-friendly activities.
A free trolley service will connect various venues, offering access to haunted houses, ghost tours, the QC Farmers Market and the Rock Island Artists’ Market.
“We promise to be a downtown that moves you – and that’s exactly what Back from the Dead delivers,” Jack Cullen, the alliance’s executive director, said in a news release. “This event is all about exploring downtown, rediscovering its energy during the peak of spooky season and celebrating the authentic, creative spirit our businesses bring to life.
