The Combine Grill restaurant at 5266 Utica Ridge Road, Davenport, has permanently closed its business.
“We regret to inform you that The Combine Grill is closed for business. Thank you to everyone for your support. It has been a pleasure serving all of you,” according to a post on the Combine Grill Facebook page on Monday, May 15.
That Facebook page also lists the business as “permanently closed.”
The restaurant’s website, however, still was advertising the Davenport restaurant as of May 18. The original Combine restaurant is at 910 Bend Blvd., East Moline, and that remains open for business.
The 3,400-square-foot, 100-seat eatery in Davenport opened for business in early February 2022 as a sister to its East Moline site.
“The feedback has been positive,” said Jeff Harrop, the restaurant’s managing partner, told the QCBJ in 2022 shortly after the Combine Grill opened. “It helps because we had an Iowa following for the East Moline restaurant … And there’s a lot going on here at the Utica Ridge corridor.”
