Circa ’21 presents “Come From Away” musical based on 9-11

    Circa ’21 Dinner Playhouse brings the Tony Award-winning “Come From Away” a musical about the 7,000 passengers stranded by the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks in the small town in Newfoundland and the people there who banded together to help them. 

    The performances run through Saturday, Nov. 1.

    The 2017 musical, praised by Entertainment Weekly as “100 heartwarming minutes,” will feature a professional cast and creative team. Performances are scheduled for Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday evenings at 7:30 p.m. Sundays are at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday matinees are at 1:15 p.m. All shows will be preceded by pre-show entertainment from the theatre’s wait staff, the Bootleggers.

    Tickets are $68 for Friday through Sunday dinner-and-show productions and $61 for all Wednesday performances. Reservations can be made by contacting the Circa ’21 ticket office at 1828 3rd Ave., Rock Island, calling (309) 786-7733, ext. 2, or visiting www.circa21.com.
