The Quad Cities Chamber is again shining a spotlight on the region’s businesses and organizations with one of its most anticipated – but now rebranded and expanded – annual events.
The QC Business Showcase: Hob Nosh ’26, presented by Mediacom Business, will return on Wednesday, April 22, at the Bend XPO Center on East Moline’s riverfront. One of the region’s largest spring networking events, Business Showcase will be from 5-7:30 p.m. at the 922 Mississippi Parkway events center and is open to chamber members and the public alike.

According to the chamber, the reimagined event is expected to draw more than 700 attendees for an evening that highlights the very best of the Quad Cities’ businesses, entrepreneurs and nonprofits. More than 75 businesses will be represented, including 20 food and beverage tasting booths.
This year’s event is encouraging all Quad Citizens to attend and experience the energy firsthand.
“We decided to change the name of the event to better describe it,” Anna Possehl, the chamber’s events manager, said in a news release. “It’s really a showcase of the best the QC has to offer. This event is known for its excellent food and drink samples, but you’ll also get to know our small businesses, entrepreneurs, nonprofits and so much more.”
This year’s gathering also has added a dueling pianos performance, sponsored by Circa ’21 Dinner Playhouse, as well as Golf Lab Mobile – a golf simulation game; the “Puppy Pit Stop” provided by the QC Animal Welfare Center; and caricatures by local artists Bill Douglas, Bill Gustafson and Leo Kelly.
“We’re excited to open up this event to the public – with new vendors, businesses and even
some special incentives to become a chamber member,” said President and CEO Peter Tokar, III. “It’s going to be a great showcase of the Quad Cities – and we hope to pack the
house.”
The cost is $50 for non-members or at the door. A $35 early registration was available for members only. This year’s basket raffle themes are: summer fun, game day,
local favorites, spa day and small business resources.
