It’s time to sign up for the Quad Cities Chamber of Commerce Intern QC talent development initiative.
The annual program is aimed at helping businesses with workforce attraction and retention by showing interns what the Quad Cities has to offer as a place to live. While businesses teach interns about their company and the skills they’ll need to succeed, the chamber said, InternQC will give interns an unforgettable summer of fun in the Quad Cities.
Through Intern QC, they will build valuable friendships and connections with other young professionals. They also can gain professional development lessons that will have a lasting impact on their career while enjoying local favorites.
InternQC is open to all area interns. It includes four networking and connection events with other young professionals in a relaxed, fun, social setting. The schedule includes:
- Thursday, June 13 – TBK Bank Sports Complex, Bettendorf
- Wednesday, June 26 – Analog II Pizza & Arcade, Moline
- Wednesday, July 10 – Armored Gardens, Davenport
- Wednesday, July 24 – Quad Cities River Bandits Game, Davenport
Area businesses and organizations with summer interns are encouraged to sign up their interns for the InternQC summer program. The registration fee is $125 for chamber members, $200 for non-members. Register by June 1.
