The John Deere Classic golf tournament will be getting some country music star power this summer.

Carrie Underwood will perform Saturday, July 4, at TPC Deere Run in Silvis as part of the John Deere Classic’s Concerts on the Course Series. The concert will start after the third round of golf ends, which will be around 6 p.m., JDC officials announced Thursday morning, March 12.

This year’s JDC tournament will be held Wednesday through Sunday, July 1-5. One of the many features of the tournament is the post-play music concerts performed on the TPC’s 18th green. Last month, it was announced that country music headliner band Old Dominion will take the stage following the trophy ceremony on Sunday, July 5. Last year, Dierks Bentley and the Zac Brown Band performed on the last two days of the tournament.

Tickets for the JDC go on sale Tuesday, March 31. Go here for ticket sale information.

Ms. Underwood is the highest Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA)-certified female country artist of all time, including eight albums that are certified multi-platinum or platinum by the RIAA, with over 95 million total RIAA certifications to date, all while continuing to sell out arena tours across North America and the U.K.

She has recorded 29 No. 1 singles (14 of which she co-wrote) and has won over 100 major awards, including 8 Grammy Awards, 16 ACM Awards, including three for Entertainer of the Year (the first female in history to win twice and the only female ever to win three times), 25 CMT Music Awards (holding the record for the most award wins ever for the show), 17 American Music Awards, 10 People’s Choice Awards, and 7 CMA Awards.

Some of her hit songs include “Before He Cheats,” “Jesus, Take the Wheel” and “Inside Your Heaven.”

The other music act performing at the JDC will be Old Dominion. The band’s anthems and electrifying live shows have put the multi-platinum-selling band prominently at the forefront of country music. Some of OD’s hit songs include “One Man Band,” “Snapback” and “Memory Lane.” The band has sold more than 1.6 million albums in the U.S.

The John Deere Classic, which includes Birdies for Charity, is a 501(C)3 non-profit organization located in East Moline. Since its founding in 1971, the tournament has helped raise more than $189.6 million for charity.
