Bob’s Discount Furniture donates $5,000 during grand opening 

Bob’s Discount Furniture celebrated its newest location in Davenport, with a grand opening celebration Friday, Feb. 14. Store Manager Kristi Rowley cut the ribbon for the new store alongside John Stowell, Bob’s regional director, and Ryan Nalette, vice president - retail strategy and innovation, as well as store employees and community guests. Bob’s Discount Furniture held its grand opening Friday, Feb. 14, at its newest location in Davenport’s North Ridge Shopping Center at 4022 E. 53rd St., Davenport. 

As part of the festivities, Bob’s presented a $2,500 Random Acts of Kindness donation to Kinnas House Of Love, representing the company’s commitment to supporting the Quad Cities community. Luekinna Hodges, founder and president of the organization, accepted the donation.

 

The store also donated another $2,500 Random Acts of Kindness donation to Davenport’s Eisenhower Elementary School to show its support of local schools. Principal Dave Martin and Assistant Principal Steven Gamet were on hand to accept the donation.
