Black Hawk College offers help for small business owners, entrepreneurs

Thinking of starting your own business? Learn from people who have done it.

The first Quad-Cities Open House for Small Businesses & Entrepreneurs will be held at Black Hawk College at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 9.

The event will be held in Building 3 in the gymnasium on Black Hawk College’s Moline campus. 

At the event, attendees can get tips from a panel of business experts and learn from local resource partners who provide support at all stages of a business’ development.

Also on hand will be experts with local financial institutions, the Greater Quad Cities Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, the SCORE Quad Cities chapter, the Quad Cities Chamber of Commerce and the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA).

From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., meet Quad Cities area small business owners and entrepreneurs, hear their success stories, and pitch them your ideas.
