Black Friday: Day a ‘success’ for many QC businesses

Some retailers called it a slow shopping day

For some local businesses, the holiday shopping season started strong as shoppers came out in force on “Black Friday” and spent big money. For others, the day was just another Friday as many shoppers stayed home to do their shopping online or prepare for the season’s first snowstorm.
