Big 9 Summer Concert Series returns to Davenport

The City of Davenport and Common Chord have announced the return of The Big 9 Summer Concert Series, with the first concert on May 31.

The series will feature a variety of musical genres, including country and soul, at downtown hotspots and riverfront parks along Davenport’s nine miles of Mississippi riverfront. Food vendors will be present at park venues.

The full schedule is as follows:

• Saturday, May 31, 6-8 p.m. Karli Bunn Quintet at Quinlan Court, 101 W. River Drive.
• Friday, June 6,  5 -8 p.m. Second Street Block Party, 10 of Soul 2nd Street.
• Saturday, June 14,  6-9 p.m. Wonderland: A Tribute to the Legendary Stevie Wonder LeClaire Park, 400 West Beiderbecke Drive.
• Saturday, June 28, 6 -8 p.m. Logan Springer and the Wonderfully Wild, The Last Picture House, 325 East 2nd Street. 
• Thursday, July 3, 6-9:30 p.m. Identity Crisis at LeClaire Park, 400 W. Beiderbecke Drive.
• Saturday, July 12,  7-10 p.m. DJ Buddha Up Sky Bar, 215 North Main St.
• Thursday, July 17,  7-8:30 p.m. Back Pocket Bix @ 6.
• Saturday, Aug. 9,  7-10 p.m. 80’s Ladies, LeClaire Park, 400 W. Beiderbecke Drive.
• Saturday, Aug. 30, 7-10 p.m. Steely Dane w/ QC Rock Academy at Credit Island, 2301 W.River Drive.
