Bettendorf Rotary’s Lobsterfest is June 10

The Rotary Club of Bettendorf’s Lobsterfest will begin at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, June 10, at Tanglewood Hills Pavilion, 4250 Middle Road, Bettendorf.

“This year, over 30 local charities received grants from our club, students received college scholarships, families were provided holiday food baskets, and kids received books to read — all possible because of the support and success of Lobsterfest,” said the Rotary Club President Joe Campion, in a news release.

Tickets — $100 per person or $800 for a table of eight — may be purchased through the club’s website, and include a lobster tail and beef fillet buffet dinner, dessert, hosted wine and tap beer, and a live and silent auction. Event proceeds will be reinvested into the community through Rotary Club-sponsored projects, according to the release.

Many sponsors are supporting the event.

Support for this year’s Lobsterfest includes presenting sponsors TBK Bank and Abbey Carpet Gallery; gold sponsors Focus Real Estate, Build to Suit, Ron’s Toy Box and Duck Creek Tire.  Other sponsors may be found on the Rotary Club of Bettendorf’s website.

With about 100 members, the Bettendorf Rotary Club lives the Rotary motto — “Service above Self” — through funding and participating in projects locally, nationally and internationally. It meets at noon every Wednesday at the Tanglewood Pavilion, 4250 Middle Road, Bettendorf.
