On National Missing Persons Day, Feb. 3, the Bettendorf Police Department (BPD) renewed its call for the public’s help in locating David McAllister, who has been missing since May 11, 2017.

Mr. McAllister was 22 years old when he disappeared, and his whereabouts remain unknown. The BPD continues to actively investigate his case.

In the wake of his disappearance, Mr. McAllister’s family and friends formed a nonprofit organization, Doing It For David, which seeks community leads while also raising awareness for all missing men.

The BPD is asking for the media’s help in sharing the request for new information. Anyone with details on McAllister’s whereabouts is urged to contact Lt. Jeff Buckles at (563) 344-4039 or leave an anonymous tip with Crime Stoppers of the QC at (309) 762-9500.
