The 2025 Bettendorf State of the City Address will be given by Mayor Bob Gallagher on Wednesday, Feb. 26, at the Waterfront Convention Center in downtown.
The doors will open at 11 a.m., opening remarks will begin at 11:30 a.m., and the State of the City Address will begin at 12:15 p.m.Â
The event has free admission and is open to the public. There will be a $20 fee to attend the lunch buffet, which is optional. To reserve a seat for lunch, visit here.
During the upcoming address, Mr. Gallagher will provide an update on how the city is achieving its goals.Those goals include:Â
- Remain a financially sound city that provides quality city services.
- Have orderly growth and quality development.
- Support riverfront/downtown development to create a destination for living, working, and entertainment.
- Grow current businesses and attract new businesses.
- Be a premier place to live in the Quad Cities.
In past years, Mr. Gallagher also has discussed recently completed projects or projects that are in the works.
