The City of Bettendorf is looking to partner with area businesses on a series of decorative streetscape banners that will be installed across the city.
Assistant City Administrator Jeff Reiter said local businesses and organizations have an opportunity to be featured as banner sponsors. Each sponsor is invited to pay a fee to be recognized on a banner with their logo artwork appearing on the bottom third portion of the new city street banners.
Participants can choose the city street lamps they prefer for their banner. The new banners will be displayed along Bettendorf’s Forest Grove Drive and Middle Road areas. Â
Locations are being reserved on a first-come first-served basis. To review the available street lamp locations, head to the “City Banner Sign-Up Page” link here. Â The new banners are scheduled to be installed in late summer or early fall and will be on display for a minimum of 12 months from the date of display, Mr. Reiter said.
