‘Bettendorf Americana’ event slated for Aug. 1-3

Bettendorf Americana

The second annual “Bettendorf Americana” celebration has been set for Thursday through Saturday, Aug. 1-3, at the Isle Casino Hotel Bettendorf.

Rob Wolfe of the television show “American Pickers” and Jordan Richmond of Richmond Auctions announced Tuesday, July 16, plans for vintage car show, antique show and auction. The host of the show is Mr. Wolfe. Its sponsor is Mr. Richmond.

Bettendorf Americana is one of the year’s largest gatherings of antique dealers and enthusiasts, including more than 500 antique cars and more than 200 dealers of petroliana, automobilia, coin operated memorabilia, antique advertising signs, and general antiques of all kinds. The event is being held against the picturesque backdrop of the majestic Mississippi River.

Much more than an antique show, the gathering will feature fun for the whole family with a swap meet, games, food and waterfront attractions steeped in Americana charm.

“This is more than just an event; it’s a vision to transform the Quad Cities into a global vintage car and antique destination,” according to the Bettendorf Americana website.
