Bethany for Children & Families and Scott County Kids are partnering this month to raise awareness of child abuse through The Lisa Project, a multisensory exhibit that lets visitors see, hear and experience the reality of child abuse, according to a news release.Â
The exhibit uses audio narration from a child’s perspective as visitors are guided, room by room, through scenarios depicting abuse. Each showing is 10 minutes, running from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 15, at Bethany for Children & Families, 1701 River Drive, Suite 100, Moline.
The exhibit is rated PG-13 and is not recommended for children under age 15, according to the release. For more information, visit thelisaproject.org.Â
