Bettendorf is getting ready to celebrate. The city’s annual Be Downtown festival of events is set for noon to 10 p.m. Saturday, June 6. Many of the celebration events will take place at the 15th Street Landing at 15th and State streets.
This year’s event will feature a free, family-friendly festival by day, and an entertaining night of live music across downtown.
Some of the events at the 15th Landing will include professional wrestling, games for kids, live music, food and beverage vendors. When the sun goes down, the party keeps going. Starting at 7 p.m., catch live music at four different venues in Bettendorf.
Here are some of the events set for noon to 7 p.m. at the 15th Street Landing:
- Live Music in two-hour sets from popular Quad Cities bands: Paxton Sherbeyn and the Solid Gold Boys and Panic River Band.
- Professional wrestling presented by Honor Among Wrestling starting at 2:15 p.m and again at 5:35 p.m.
- Local food and beverage vendors serving noon to 6 p.m.
- K&K Family Fun Zone (noon–6 p.m.) featuring bounce houses, bubble stations and hands-on kids activities
- Bags (Cornhole) Tournaments hosted by the 4-City Cornhole Club. Tournaments at noon and 3 p.m. On-site registration opens one hour prior to each tournament. Cash prizes per tournament: 1st Place – $300, 2nd Place – $200, 3rd Place – $100.
