The Be Downtown celebration is returning to Bettendorf from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday, June 7, according to the Downtown Bettendorf Organization (DBO).
The annual celebration will be at the 15th Street Landing (15th and State streets), and feature a variety of free, family-friendly events.
“Be Downtown continues to grow in numbers each year. It’s a great opportunity to spend the day in Downtown Bettendorf. Live music, pro wrestling, kids activities, food trucks and a bags tournament make for a great Saturday, and it’s all free,” said Ryan Jantzi, the DBO executive director.
Beginning at noon, live music will be provided in two-hour sets throughout the day by popular QC bands Rude Punch, 10 of Soul and Funktastic 5. Action-packed pro wrestling will begin at 2:05 p.m. by Honor Among Wrestling (HAW).
Downtown restaurant Verde will offer food and an outdoor bar for alcohol and other beverage sales. Food trucks will serve from noon to 6 p.m. including Smokin’ Goodness and Wolfe It Down Pizza.
The K&K Family Fun Zone will be noon to 6 p.m. with bounce houses, bubble stations and a hands-on kids activities. Merchandise vendors will be selling a variety of food and gift products.
Two bags tournaments will be held at noon and 3 p.m., organized by the 4-City Cornhole Club. Registration will be on-site one hour prior. Each tournament will have cash prizes: $300, first place; $200, second place; and $100, third place.
“Be Downtown” is presented by Ascentra Credit Union and Bettendorf Business Network with additional sponsorship from the City of Bettendorf, Isle Casino Hotel, K&K Hardware, Quad-City Times, Stations of Our Quad Cities and Townsquare Media.

Parking for the event includes on-street parking on State and Grant streets plus at multiple lots in downtown Bettendorf, including: 15th and Grant streets (TBK Bank building lot) after 1 p.m.; 18th and Mississippi streets (Asbury Methodist Church lot); 18th and Grant streets (City of Bettendorf lot); Bettendorf City Hall and street parking. Motorcycle parking will be available on 15th Street.
